ACCOMMODATION
Slip into somewhere comfortable. The “Farm Cottage” built in the 1940’s and recently tastefully refurbished. The ideal place from which to launch your adventures, then return to relax. CLYDESDALE HORSE RIDES
The Gentle Giants of the horse world. Join a guided, small group (max 6 riders), ride on our purebred Clydesdale horses. Enjoy a leisurely ride through our Game Estate and alongside the Kaituna River viewing Game and Wildlife in its own environment and the panoramic vista of the Coastal Bay of Plenty. Take Time Out - Say hello to the Clydesdales before you ride our trails.
Trail Break – Share your experience after you ride as you enjoy some food and a refreshing drink.
Saddleback Lunch – Stop on the trail and recharge your energy levels with good country food and a thirst quenching drink.
Sunrise Ride – It is up with the birds and a 7.00am start to greet the rising sun. See the sun rise from the sea and listen to the dawn bird chorus. Finish your ride with a real farmer’s breakfast. What a great way to start another fantastic day.
Sun-downer – The ideal end to a busy day. Start at 6.00pm and ride through the O’Hara game Estate, beside the Kaituna River, watching the sunset and listening to the wakening of the night life. Now relax around the campfire, watch the flames dance, as you enjoy real Kiwi food and share your experiences.

FIELD ARCHERY & PISTOL COURSES
Test your skill “without the kill”. Game size targets set beside the Kaituna River in ten acres of regenerating bush. Your opportunity to practise those skills of the past and today that help keep people fed. Another great outdoors experience for everyone. Full instruction given and your safety is paramount.

TARGET RANGES – INDOOR AND OUTDOOR
Experience the satisfaction and fun in “Having a go”. Safely step outside you comfort zone and have a play with all those things you never quite got your hands on. Forget the muscle this is about skill. A challenge for you and your friends. Instruction given, and as always your safety is paramount.
COSTS: TARGET RANGES – INDOOR AND OUTDOOR
All disciplines are $40.00 per Person for first hour (min charge $60.00) and $20.00 per person for each additional ½ hour or part thereof. Instruction and Equipment included in cost.

KIWIFRUIT & GAME - Two iconic rural enterprises where Kiwi creativity and innovation have taken raw horticultural and livestock components and turned them into internationally acclaimed foods. Learn about the Kiwis who developed them and see both enterprises in action.
